GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Oral presentation session will take place at the Room C (MODERATO, B1F) of InterContinental Seoul COEX in Seoul at 17:10~18:30 on November 17, 2017. Please take the time to read these guidelines ahead of time to ensure your presentation is successful.

1) Session Information
  • - Oral Abstract Session
  • * Date & Time: 17:10~18:30, November 17
  • * Place: Room C (Moderato Room, B1F)
  • - Each presentation will be limited to total of 9 minutes (7 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for Q&A)
  • - In order to minimize interference with other presentations, overruns will not be allowed.
  • - Presentation should be in English.
  • - Please check your presentation order via our website. (http://www.kshf-sessions.org/program/daily.php?ini=A)
2) Presentation Files
  • - Each presenter should prepare the presentation file in MS-PowerPoint.
  • - Please ensure your PowerPoint Presentations are in 4:3 and not 16:9.
  • - Presentations must be saved as a .ppt or .pptx file type.
  • - If using fonts other than standard MS-Office 2010 fonts, or if the presentation file contains animations or video clips, please also save separately and bring these files with the presentation.
  • - Please bring your presentation files with you on USB memory stick.
3) Preview Room
  • - Operation Hours

  • - Please visit the Preview Room to upload and check your presentation files at least one hour before your session to ensure that all materials are satisfactory. A technician will be ready to assist you.
  • - If your presentation file contains animations, video clips and sounds, you are advised to check over all materials and technical matters 2 hours prior to your session.
4) Session Information
  • - All presenters are required to use venue facilities only. Each session room will be equipped and prepared with the following:
  • * Presentation computer with Windows OS, MS-Office PowerPoint 2010 and Adobe Reader on the podium
  • * A smart pointer, a mouse and a timer
  • * Beam projector
  • * Screen
  • - To avoid frequently occurring technical problems, all presenters are asked to use only IBM compatible PC preset in the session room.
  • - Please note that our technical system do not support the ‘Presenter View’ mode that could show your notes as you present while the audience sees only your slides.

GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Poster presentation session will take place at the 30th Floor of InterContinental Seoul COEX in Seoul from November 17-18, 2017. Please take the time to read these guidelines ahead of time to ensure your presentation is successful.

1) Moderated Poster Session

Poster Presenters are requested to place their poster during the Moderated Poster Sessions to give a brief presentation.

  • - Time & Date: 12:30~13:30, November 17, 2017
  • - Poster Location: 30th Floor of the Venue (Go up to the Lobby by elevator and transfer another elevator next corridor for 30th Floor)
  • * P 01 ~ P 10: Apollo Room (30th Floor)
  • * P 11 ~ P 20: Jupiter Room (30th Floor)
  • - Preparation: 2 min. for presentation and 3 min. for discussion
  • - Moderator and two discussants will visit each poster in poster number order.

3) Poster Board
  • Each poster presenter will be assigned one 2,050mm (Height) X 950mm (Width) white laminate panel. Materials should be attached to the poster board with tape.
4) Others
  • - Presenters are responsible for posting and removing their own materials.
  • - Posters should be brought to the venue and not mailed, as the Organizing Committee cannot be responsible for loss or mishandling.
  • - No electrical power will be provided, therefore no device or illustration requiring electricity may be utilized.
  • - Audio-visual equipment may NOT be used.
